Return and Refund Policy
This Return and Refund Policy is applicable to all purchases made from Taira and complies with Swedish consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Purchases Act (Konsumentköplagen) and the Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (Lag om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler). By purchasing from Taira, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Right of Withdrawal (Ångerrätt)
Under Swedish law, consumers have the right to withdraw from their purchase:
- Within 14 days (we offer 30 days) from the date of receipt of the goods (cooling-off period).
- This right applies to standard (non-customized) items.
To exercise your right of withdrawal:
- Notify us in writing within the withdrawal period via email at tairasofficial@gmail.com.
- Return the item in its original, unused condition, with all tags, packaging, and documentation included.
Exemptions:
- Custom-made, engraved, or personalized items are not eligible for withdrawal unless defective or damaged.
2. Returns for Non-Defective Items
- The customer bears the cost of return shipping for non-defective items.
- Items must be returned within 30 days of notifying us of the withdrawal.
- Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item and verifying its condition.
3. Defective or Damaged Items
If an item is defective or damaged upon arrival:
- Notify us within 30 days of receipt with details and photographic evidence at tairasofficial@gmail.com
- We will assess the claim and, if approved, offer a replacement, repair, or full refund, including return shipping costs.
- Jewelry can discolour, we are not responsible for that.
4. Refund Process
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 days of:
- Receiving and verifying the returned item, or
- Confirming that a defective or damaged item is eligible for a refund.
5. Return Shipping Instructions
- Securely package the item to prevent damage during transit.
- Use a trackable shipping method and retain the shipping receipt. Taira is not responsible for lost or undelivered returns.
6. Limitation of Liability
Taira reserves the right to deny a refund or replacement if:
- The returned item shows signs of wear, damage, or alteration not caused by manufacturing defects.
- The return is made outside the allowed time frames.
